From Childhood Curiosity to Cybersecurity Expert:

Ever since I cracked my first pass-code on a non-smart phone as a kid, I knew technology was my playground. My journey began with simple acts of tech wizardry, helping family members with forgotten passwords and teaching them the ins and outs of their gadgets. The real adventure started when I got my hands on my first PC. From reinstalling Windows after a crash to upgrading hardware components, every challenge was a stepping stone, fuelling my curiosity even further.

Navigating a career slightly off the beaten cyber path was a solo climb with its fair share of challenges. Maintaining my focus on cybersecurity, despite working in roles that didn’t align perfectly, tested my resolve.

My dedication paid off when I landed a role as a junior programmer, marking the start of a thrilling ascent in the tech world. With each year, I evolved, transitioning from development to application security, and now, I’ve finally achieved a significant milestone in my career—joining the Cybersecurity realm!

This year marks not just another promotion but the realization of my dream. While my heart initially set on offensive security, fate had a better plan, guiding me into the world of SOC and defensive security.

This shift, I believe, will lay a stronger foundation for my future endeavours in offensive roles, backed by a rich programming background and a deep understanding of defense mechanisms.
